Since now I have been using it for over a month, I would like to share my own experience using the product.

Hey K-Beauty’s Review

Q. Why did I buy?

I was looking for a semi-matte cushion foundation since I figured once the weather becomes hotter, my skin would become more oily. I also saw a lot of compliments around this product from the Korean beauty Youtubers. It was also ranked as #2 in the cushion foundation category in the Hwahae app.

Q. How is the coverage?

The coverage is quite strong but not as strong as I expected. I actually didn’t find this as a con since I prefer a natural look rather than the perfect coverage. Regarding the shade, I picked #03 Linen and the color is slightly brighter than my skin tone. It blends well to provide the natural tone up.

Q. Does it last long?

It lasts long enough and I can say this since whenever I remove my make up at the end of the day, the round pad that I use turns beige! However, it depends on the weather – on hot days, it tends to wear away with my sweat.

Q. Does it build well?

Yes, I can build thin layers with this product. Layering with just a small amount, multiple times works great. However, it heavily depends on my skin condition. Because of its powdery, matte finish, it sometimes makes my whiteheads around my nose/chin and flakes on cheek area more noticeable.

Q. Is it non-irritating?

It has not been irritating at all for me. I actually love the fact that Centella Asiatica Extract –  which is a source of amino acids and has soothing properties – comes the first in the ingredient list, meaning that it was used in the greatest amount for the product.

Q. Any tips?

Depending on your skin type, you might need to hydrate your skin enough before you apply this product since it may be drying. Be sure to exfoliate to remove whiteheads or blackheads.

Q. Will I buy it again?

I won’t since it is too drying for me. The fact that it made my whiteheads noticeable was a con as well. This product will be a good fit though for the ones with oily skin. Please find more details at Yes Style / StyleVana / StyleKorean.
