Why I love CNP Laboratory Anti-Pore Black Head Clear Kit

Growing up, blackheads and whiteheads, especially on my nose, have been my persistent foes. I battled blackheads during my teenage years and whiteheads from my mid-20s to now. CNP Anti-Pore Black Head Clear Kit, which I’ve been using for over seven years, has been a game-changer for both issues. Although I’ve tried various products like nose strips, clay masks, and rubber masks, I always return to this kit.

What It Is

The CNP Laboratory Anti-Pore Black Head Clear Kit includes two masks and black cotton swabs.

Mask 1 (white package): Dissolves blackheads and sebum quickly. It feels refreshing and cooling with a slightly minty scent.
Mask 2 (green package): Tightens the pores. It feels more hydrating and slippery compared to Mask 1.
Black swabs: Physically remove the dissolved sebum after using Mask 1.

What It Does

Mask 1: This core product of the kit contains natural ingredient extracts such as sage leaf extract, melissa officinalis leaf extract, and arctium majus root extract. Combined with CNP’s patented formula, it stabilizes and encapsulates in nano units. This mask, soaked with the combined liquid, rapidly penetrates the pores and effectively removes the sebum inside.
Mask 2: Soaked with witch hazel and oleanolic acid, it tightens the pores effectively while also soothing and hydrating the area.

How to Use

Step 0: Apply basic skincare products after cleansing your face. (* I stop at a light toner step and try to keep my face light and not oily to maximize the effect of this product.)
Step 1: Apply Mask 1 (white package) to the area with blackheads (for me, the nose) for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2: Remove the mask and wipe the area with the black swab by rolling it in multiple directions – out from in, down to up.
Step 3: Apply Mask 2 (green package) for about 5-10 minutes and remove. Gently pat the residue to absorb; there’s no need to wash it off.

Pro Tips

Pair it with your favorite daily exfoliator (for me, 2% BHA Liquid from Paula’s Choice). With this combo, I rarely see whiteheads or blackheads.
Use a warm towel on the area with blackheads before using Mask 1 to open the pores.
Refrigerate Mask 2 before use to maximize its effect.
After using Mask 1, recycle it on your chin or the area between your eyebrows where you have additional whiteheads. It’s efficient and actually works!
